Refrigerant Recovery Cylinders

With over 45 years of experience manufacturing pressurized cylinders, Worthington’s refrigerant recovery tanks are the safe and reliable choice for storing and transporting refrigerant gas.

These DOT-certified recovery cylinders can be used to safely recover, store and transport used refrigerant from HVAC and refrigeration systems to EPA-certified reclamation centers, where the gas can be cleaned and recycled or properly disposed. Do not vent cylinders into the atmosphere.

Worthington refrigerant recovery tanks are manufactured in our United States and Portugal facilities. The superior powder coat finish helps extend the life of each steel cylinder. Cylinders are equipped with one port with the option to add a float switch.

Per AHRI Guideline K, recovery cylinder colors should be gray (body) with a yellow shoulder.

Cylinder Sizes:

  • Small Recovery: 30-, 50-pounds at 400 psig

  • Large Recovery: 123- (400 psig), 239- and 1,000-pounds (260 or 400 psig)

While DOT regulations require all refrigerant recovery cylinders be recertified by hydrostatic testing at least every five years, there is no limit to the number of times Worthington recovery cylinders can be recertified, or the number of years they can be used.
