Steel Galvanizing

Hot-dipped galvanizing is a process of bonding a protective metallic layer directly to the steel sheet by passing it through a molten bath of zinc. The zinc provides protection to the steel by providing resistance to corrosion and oxidation, thus extending the useful life and appearance of the steel. For improved paintability, we also offer Galvanneal.
Worthington Industries is capable of providing one of the broadest ranges of coating weights in the industry, including differentially coated, to meet the requirements of the market place such as the construction and automotive industries. Learn more about our Galvanized products.
