Worthington’s expertise in machining and assembly stems from years of manufacturing experience and continuous improvement efforts.

Our Machine Technologies group designs, builds and maintains blank dies, draw dies and progressive dies used to produce our products. We also design and build custom machines for many of our production facilities. The ability to customize our machining equipment in-house provides time and cost efficiencies over outside suppliers. In addition to building new equipment we can rebuild, upgrade and reverse engineer much of our existing equipment. Select capabilities include but are not limited to:

Our Bremen, Ohio facility features an extensive machine shop capable of producing herringbone gears used in marine hoists, speed reducers and other applications. The shop maintains some of the longest-running machines designed to produce these gears.
