Cold rolled steel offers consistent and reliable end product quality. Components typically manufactured from cold rolled steel require simple bends and parts with extreme, deep-drawn requirements.

Cold rolled steel is most often used when quality and appearance are critical. It got the name “cold rolled steel” because the steel is kept below its recrystallization temperature during processing. This process produces steel with tighter tolerances, higher surface quality and increased strength. If the cold rolled steel is annealed, it produces steel that has a higher flexibility than hot rolled steel.
